Star Studded Cast

It's always a special treat to be able to witness the spectacular UConn women play. Even when the game isn't close, you are in for an amazing ride. From the young freshmen Stephanie Dolson and Bria Hartley to the mega star Maya Moore, this is a well oiled and cohesive machine . Geno Auriemma continues to deliver year after year. It would seem that the odds were stacked against him with such a young and inexperienced team, but he always finds a way! Granted , he has Maya. My only wish is that more fans would show up and show their support. Perhaps they have become complacent and spoiled.

Very fun time and great games.

The Times Union Center is very clean and cozy. The Fan-Fest prior to the games in the new Atrium was definitely fun for the kids. If you don't have kids with you, there's not much reason to go to it for more than a few minutes just to look around. The arena offers a wide variety of food, above and beyond the basics like burgers & dogs. Typical arena pricing - $5 for bottled water/soda, $10 for a chicken fingers/fries basket. Inside the arena, the ushers are friendly and happy to help find your seat. Parking in the area is relatively inexpensive - average is about $20. The games were fun and very exciting. It is definitely worth it if you're a hoops fan.

Food concessions big negative

Nice venue, good seating, good layout for basketball. Would definitely attend again. Big negative was the food service. They were ill prepared to handle the crowd. Spent an entire quarter of the game waiting in line for a bottle of water. When the person at the head of the line had to wait for their order, rather then wait on the next person they made the entire line wait on that one order. Witnessed two cashiers waiting on the same person. Not all concession booths open. No beverage only stands open. They dropped the ball big time. Aramark is the vendor and the Times Union Center would do well to reconsider their choice of vendors.
